The first SWiM workshop took place on 6 March 2025 and focused on integration of floating solar in offshore wind farms.
The following topics were addressed:
- Permits and tendering criteria, location specifics and integration into Marine Spatial planning;
- Appropriate framework to integrate offshore PV in ofsfshore wind;
- Elements currently missing in MSP, permits, tenders and regulations or concepts.
The workshop’s goal was to come up with useful advice for policymakers at several levels.
